The Personal accident cover provides compensation to you for accidental death, disablement, or physical injury caused in an accident. It offers compensation payable to the insured or his/her legal representative in accordance with the sum insured and the agreed scale of compensation

Scope of Cover

  • Accidental Death (upto Kshs 20,000,000)
  • Accidental Permanent Total Disability (up to Kshs 20,000,000)
  • Accidental Temporary Total Disability per week for a maximum of 104 weeks (up to Kshs 50,000)
  • Accidental Medical Expenses (up to Kshs 1,000,000)
  • Hospital Cash (up to Kshs 20,000)
  • Cost of Artificial Appliances, e.g. Prosthetics, due to accidental loss (up to Kshs 50,000)
  • Funeral Expenses due to an Accidental Death (up to Kshs 200,000)

 

Cover might be extended, at a marginal charge, to cover death,  disablement, or injuries resulting from acts of Terrorism, riots, strikes, civil commotions, and malicious acts.
